Looking back on Kyrsten Sinema’s best terrible outfits
Arizona Senator Kyrsten Sinema announced that she would not seek reelection to the Senate today, having represented her state for one term as both a Democrat and later as an Independent. However the most notable thing from her time in the Senate will most definitely be her eccentric outfit choices. But which ones were the worst? Social media users are posting their best memories of her strangest outfits, here are some of our favorites!
This collection of strange color choices probably doesn’t belong in Congress…
These black and white polka dots.
What was the goal with this skirt?
This yellow thing…
This strange pink, blue, and black thing… That paired with the pink hair was a wild choice for COVID times. (I also like the building comparison)
I’m not sure I think this is a baked potato, but whatever it was supposed to be, it isn’t working.
The random wigs? Why was she always wearing them.
This post was a collaboration between members of our contributor team who had fun finding these images after hearing about Sinema’s exit from the Senate. Chairman and CEO of Netflix hit ” 3 Body Problem”, Lin Qi, murdered at 39.
Lin Qi was born in Wenzhou, Zhejiang in China, 1981. Ever since he was little, he had a burning passion for video games and pursued his studies on Computer Information Management (CMI) at Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
When asked about his college life, Lin Qi stated that, “During my four years in college, I ate lunch in a box for two years and spent half the time staring at the computer.” After his graduation in 2004, he worked as a software engineer for Zhejiang Telecom then moved on as a partner for an advertising agency.
Lin Qi launched Yoozoo Games in 2009 during the peak of online gaming platforms. The company has launched several games that have been a non-stop hit to their Chinese customers.
One of their most popular games were Game of Thrones: Winter Is Coming, which was an online multiplayer and real-life strategy game based on the HBO television series “Game Of Thrones.” Due to the company’s over-growing success in the gaming industry, Yoozoo has expanded into film production.
Lin Qi was a major fan of the best-selling novel, “The Three-Body Problem”, and had big plans to bring his favorite sci-fi book to all televisions in China, and possibly the world. He had dreams of making the series a global sensation, up high in the ranks with “Star Wars” and “Game Of Thrones.”
However, this would all change in December of 2020, when Lin Qi was fatally poisoned by Xu Yao, Yoozoo’s senior executive, over an argument they had about the future of “The Three-Body Problem’s” adaptation. Allegedly, Xu Yao described Lin Qi as “an arrogant person” who never took anyone else’s opinion but his own.
This angered Xu Yao as he helped Lin land the Netflix deal in early 2020, causing Xu Yao to, reportedly, acquire lethal substances and disguise them as probiotic pills, in which he gave to Lin Qi. In other reports, he poisoned all of the beverages (with the use of methylmercury chloride) in the Yoozoo office, leading to most people who attended the party, to fall sick. All of them survived.
Lin’s sudden death shocked all of China and sparked widespread speculation. Chinese authorities didn’t share much details towards the case against Xu, who murdered one of the richest men in all of China. The case of Lin Qi took four years to uncover but finally, on March 22nd of 2024, the Shanghai First Intermediate People’s Court found Xu Yao guilty of murder and sentenced him to the death penalty.
